Choosing the Right Antique Lighting Fixture for Your Home

Flush mount lighting fixtures are most often found in areas that have lower ceilings such as entry ways and hallways. More and more pendant lighting is becoming a common feature in living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and foyers. While they were introduced as a smaller more conservative version of the chandelier, in recent times, pendant lighting can be very elegant. Wall sconces are a form of lighting that is attached to the wall to provide background lighting. Wall sconces would not be an ideal form of lighting for a room that requires functional or direct lighting. Wall sconces are available in an assortment of styles ranging from contemporary to antique.
Many antique wall sconces are made of the same materials. Commonly, antique wall sconces are available in gold, brass, and glass or metal. Antique wall sconces are known to bring charm and style to any living space.
